James Ball

Committee Member

James is a practising barrister at 36 Crime (part of the 36 Group) who prosecutes and defends in serious criminal cases in the Crown Court, predominantly on the Midland Circuit.

James has particular experience of representing vulnerable defendants who are vulnerable and require intermediary assistance. James has worked with intermediaries throughout the trial preparation process and at trial.

James also lectures in law at both undergraduate and postgraduate level.
